How often should I clean my air filter?

Depending on the environment or the air purity, filters should be cleaned twice in a season. In a commercial situation it should be done monthly. The cleaner the filters in the air conditioning unit will keep the system efficient it is, therefore keeping running costs down.

My air conditioner does not work?

1. Check the isolation switch next to the air conditioner
2. Check the circuit breaker in the switchboard is in the on position.
3. Are the batteries in the hand controller o.k.
4. Have you got the mode set correctly on the hand control. eg, cooling in summer, heating in winter.
5. Have you set the temperature correctly on the hand control.

The outdoor unit drips water, is this normal?

It is completely normal for the outdoor unit to drip water, particularly when operating the air con in heating mode. Also in cooling mode on days when humidity is high the flare connections and service ports on the outdoor unit condensate, and this can cause a small amount of water.
